The thousands of photographs that A.A. took below were all taken on his initial location scouting trips of the towns we choose to feature on the show and are also what we use to gauge the overall look and feel for the cinematography for all of the travel shows.
These also serve to simply keep him on-point during the actual video shoots as they can sometimes go off in unforeseen, tangential directions. Do the shows look exactly like these photographs? Well, not quite yet, but it's getting there. We are continually learning, improving, digging deeper, and taking more chances with each and every segment we create and produce. Our philosophy is simple. If A.A. can capture it a still camera, then there's no reason that we can't translate that into the gorgeous imagery we have in mind for the show's cinematography. |
